A resounding success describes the Wichita area (D5) 2025 Writing Retreat at the Andover Library.
A time for individual writing was part of the day as well as a lively time of playing Literary Pictionary. Critique groups, based on genre, met to provide encouragement and suggestions to others. A session devoted to setting writing goals and a discussion on how to keep those goals produced many workable ideas. Attendees enjoyed a time of undisturbed writing time. The open mic portion was a highlight. Each attendee returned home with a canvas goodie bag containing writing materials. Thank you to the committee for a wonderful time.
