An honors graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Law, Thea Rademacher began her career as a social justice lawyer. After her life-changing experience co-authoring A Drop in the Night, the Life & Secret Mission of a WWII Airman, she founded Flint Hills Publishing in 2015, which now includes over 50 publications. It is her passion to help emerging authors protect their rights and avoid problems as they bring their work into the world.
It's a new year and another opportunity to meet your writing friends for a weekend of inspiration, education, and socializing! District 1 invites members to Topeka this year for the 2021 State Writing Conference & Convention.
Not ready to socialize? It's okay! Building on our can-do attitude from 2020's (first) virtual convention, we are developing a hybrid option for this year's attendees. If you are unable to travel for the event, you can still purchase a workshop ticket and join us virtually. Workshops will be livestreamed and/or recorded for viewing later.
Important Things to Know:
- The Workshop Ticket Price is good for virtual and in-person attendance.
- Meal tickets for those who attend in person can be purchased with your registration.
- You can also purchase advertising space in the convention program when you register. See more about the opportunity to advertise below.
- The Early Bird Rate expires on August 15, so don't delay, register today!
