Christi lives in Basehor, in northeastern Kansas, and will be joining KAC meetings in Lawrence.
Writing as Arinne Ro, Christi is working on a post-apocalyptic fantasy series called The Convergence, with her debut novella, Hunting Gabby, deep in the first draft. The series draws heavily from world mythologies — Baltic at its core, with Greek, Norse, and Mesopotamian woven throughout. Her pen name ties directly into the world she's building: arinne is Danish for hearth, ro for rest.
