From those unlikely beginnings, Kenneth forged an improbable path through higher education, medicine, and scientific research. He earned MD and PhD degrees from the University of Wisconsin and the University of Kansas Medical Center before building a career as a physician-scientist, researcher, and educator. His work took him from Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City to appointments abroad, including visiting professorships in Finland and Germany, and research at the German Institute of Aerospace Medicine.
Today, Kenneth writes about life and science. He enjoys sharing stories, insights, and encouragement with his children, grandchildren, and readers. Learn more at his website!
