Technology and AI can help you write, but it can’t give you a pat on the back or a hug. It can’t encourage you or say, "You’ve got this!" when you're feeling unmotivated.

Kansas Authors Club is pleased to bring monthly writing programs to members across the state and beyond. We are proud to offer annual contests for writers of all ages and annual book awards recognizing the best of the best in Kansas literature. But we also believe that there is no substitute for getting together, face to face, to write together, to learn together, to share our work in creative and supportive environments. Our annual fall gathering is proof that even introverted writers benefit from time spent together.

That's why we are embarking on transitioning away from our old district designations to creating City Chapters and Writing Groups across the state of Kansas. We are a work in progress, and we invite you to become part of our story.
